Miley Cyrus entered the world of television with the sitcom on Disney Channel named Hanna Montana. It was here that she recorded her first music soundtrack. The music became successful and she established herself as a promising young singer. With that she signed a contract with Hollywood records for a solo career. In 2008 she released her first music album named ‘Breakout’ that became commercially successful. She also recorded a theme song for the animated movie ‘Bolt’ the same year which earned the Golden Globe Award for the Best Original Song. Later in 2009 she went on to record the movie soundtrack for Hanna Montana which exposed her to new audiences within the country and adult contemporary markets. ‘Time of our lives’, a mainstream pop album was launched in 2009 which included one of her most popular smash single ‘Party in the USA’. In 2010 her album named ‘Can’t be tamed ‘was released which portrays a much more sexualized image of the happening young idol.
