Miley Cyrus Backgrounds
Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee in the United States of America to father Billy Ray Cyrus and mother Leticia. She was named as Destiny Hope Cyrus but her smiling and happy face earned her a nickname ‘Smiley’ which went on to become ‘Miley’.

In 2008 Miley went on to file the name Miley Ray Cyrus as her official name in the Los Angeles Superior Court. She made an early start in her career with her father’s television series ‘Doc’. By then she was only nine years old. She was credited for her role in the fantasy movie series named ‘Big Fish’ for her role as’ Young Ruthie’.

The movie was directed by Tim Burton and released in 2003. It was only with the television series Hanna Montana produced by Walt Disney Productions did she earn her first major lead role. She proved herself as an actor and a singer with the series.

It continued into the next season with the production of Hanna Montana 2. A movie and concert series was also organized on the basis of this television series which proved to be a tremendous hit.
